highest distinction. This rank is strictly reserved to Heads of State,
Prime and State Ministers, Governors, Generals etc., and Members of the
Supreme Council, and to Heads of Jurisdiction who have served the Order
faithfully.
The rank of Ecclesiastical Grand Cross (EGCLJ) is reserved to Cardinals, Patriarchs, (Arch)Bishops and Abbots of all Christian denominations.
