Welcome to the official website of the Military and Hospitaller Order of Saint Lazarus of Jerusalem. This website has been designed to give clearer view of the aims and the history the Military and Hospitaller Order of Saint Lazarus of Jerusalem, an international Order of Chivalry, whose beginnings go back more than 900 years. The Order has enjoyed a separate identity and social and national independence for more than 900 years, as our tradition dates from the year 1098.

We believe that the Order's challenging objective of protecting and alleviating human suffering wherever it is found, can be enhanced and ameliorated by international communication and collaboration. Our website is meant for all who are concerned with solidarity and humanitarian problems - whether they are members or not and who want to participate in our actions or collaborate through their suggestions.
